What will permits add per person in 2026?
Two separate charges apply per guest, diver or not, even on a single day trip. Liveaboards usually bill them outside the base price.

Why does each diver’s level shape the itinerary?
Private does not mean rules disappear: the partner centre’s divemaster has the final word on every site.

October to April is the main season, with Dampier Strait seas around Beaufort 1 to 3, visibility of 25 to 30 metres and water at 28 to 30 °C. December to February brings peak 30 to 40 metre visibility in the central region, the busiest and most expensive weeks.
- Mantas: Manta Sandy is a managed cleaning station dived year-round, most reliable December to March. No touch, no chase, and patrols enforce group positions. A private boat buys timing, not exclusivity.
- May and September: 20 to 25 metres, strong currents, more pelagics.
