What is Komodo Luxury not?
- Not a PADI or SSI dive centre. It does not teach courses, sign logbooks or issue certification cards.
- Not the owner of every vessel or resort it books. Many Raja Ampat dive liveaboards and dive resorts are partner-operated; Komodo Luxury arranges and confirms them for you.
- Not a medical, legal or financial adviser. Fitness to dive is between you and a physician. Dive insurance is your own policy.
- Not able to promise wildlife. Manta Sandy in the Dampier Strait is a managed cleaning station, most reliable October to April and especially December to March. Mantas still keep their own schedule.

October to April is the main season: calm Dampier Strait seas, 25-30 m visibility, water at 28-30 C. Book four to six months ahead. June to August brings choppier northern seas and 15-20 m visibility; many liveaboards relocate, while Misool stays more sheltered.
